Over the past 50 years, the increasing rate of obesity and the rise of chronic lifestyle diseases among the American population have been a direct result of misguided dietary recommendations and ineffective health care advice. As a people, we have lost touch with our ancestral heritage, eschewing an embrace of lifestyle and nourishing traditions most aligned with the manner in which the human race evolved.
